Side-Yard Patio & Walkway
This side yard was a spot nobody used. We laid large square pavers on a compacted base to create a level sitting area off the house, then carried the same pavers into a curved walkway that leads around to the back. Along the siding we built a mulch bed planted with daylilies and shrubs, softening the edge between the house and the patio. Now it’s a clean, low-maintenance space with room for a table and chairs, and a path that’s easy to walk and shovel.
